Who you are:
 

A data hungry storyteller with great presentation skills with a passion for business, and making data-driven decisions. You will be reporting to the Manager of Shared Services and working closely with internal teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. You will be responsible for assembling data from multiple sources, conducting analyses, performing research, interacting with different internal customers, designing, documenting, and implementing analytical solutions, as well as compiling and presenting results, in graphical and written summaries. You will also provide support for existing enterprise applications such as MAS 500, Primavera P6, PDXpert, etc.



The Job: 
 
  • Manage a variety of data sets, including creation, updates, deletion, and archiving
  • Review and translate data, develop reports and analysis for management team
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems. Troubleshoot the reporting database and environment and reports.
  • Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining and data cleansing
  • Supports data driven decision-making by gathering key information and building reports that effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences.
  • Provide support for enterprise application implementations
  • Routinely analyzes sales, client, and other key data in order to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities
  • Provide subject matter expertise within the department and to business partners on available data sources and the appropriate methodology for conducting analysis
  • Assists with the research and analysis of key business opportunities in both domestic and foreign markets
  • Superior knowledge of Excel is essential
  • Understanding of Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software and solution recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data set and relational databases
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of metadata standards
  • Broad knowledge and excellent understanding of a range of business intelligence concepts and common business functions and practices, including but not limited to maintenance management, customer service, records management, policies and procedures, finance systems and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
