Due to the nature of our company, all employees must pass specific security criteria. We are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will support Project Managers and Resource Managers through the disciplined control and administration of the Company’s Master Schedule. We are looking for someone passionate, that can work under tight deadlines and that wants to be part of a team that delivers cutting edge technology.
This role is vital for the success of our project as it provides visibility of tasks execution and resource utilization across all areas of the business.

Responsibilities
  • You will be supporting the PMO office with the organization, implementation and maintenance of the Master Project Schedule.
  • All Project Managers will rely on your support with setting up tasks and sub-tasks for defined projects. Yes, this role will have a lot of visibility across the company.
  • Participation in resource planning and forecast meetings.
  • You will have an opportunity to show your analytical skills when preparing periodic and routine reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Interaction with resources managers and the project teams will be something that you will experience on a daily basis, working together to define scope of work, update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from the approved plan.
  • We will be counting in you for evaluating project schedule progress, performance and we will be looking to hear from you developing problem areas.
  • Identifying the critical path and constraints will be part of this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
 
Qualifications
  • Engineering Technologist Diploma or related field or Degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years in a Project based environment using Primavera P6.
  • Expert user of Primavera P6, ability to learn and understand the wider Project Management principles
  • Solid understanding and experience in Planning / Scheduling and Earned Value Management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Office especially MS-Word and MS-Excel
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for security clearance as applicable
