We are looking for an ´╗┐Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The incumbent is an experienced ILS practitioner who leads the delivery of ILS and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) results, manages and coordinates the day to day activities and tasking of the ILS Team, and assists the Support Manager to plan and develop the long-term structure and development of the ILS offering within OSI.

Responsibilities
  • Recommend ILS processes and tools for adoption by the ILS Team, including input to justifying business cases,
  • Develop and implement the agreed ILS processes, procedures and tools for use by the ILS team,
  • Develop and manage the OSI Logistics Information Repository to ensure consistence and accuracy of outputs and held information,
  • Provide input to the determination of OSI standard Support deliverables to support OSI Standardized products and sub-systems,
  • Provide resource estimates and ILS content for proposals, engaging with Systems Engineering to ensure an integrated and consistent deliverable is achieved,
  • Allocate activities to the ILS team members and lead progress of team assigned tasks,
  • Lead the Obsolescence Management process and initiate reviews as appropriate,
  • Communicates and delegates activities and tasks within the team and interfaces with other teams to coordinate inputs and deliverables can be achieved on time,
  • Motivates the team members to achieve department goals and success
  • Where necessary, conducts ILS and LSA activities to fulfill project requirements

Qualifications
  • Must possess a recognized Engineering Technical diploma in a related area with preference for candidates with a University degree in Mechanical, Industrial and or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years ILS/Supportability Engineering practitioner experience preferably in the military or maritime domain; experience in the delivery of complex support solutions to government/military customers is an asset
  • Ability to analyze complex integrated systems requirements to determine the most appropriate and effective support solution
